So, when the Desert Caballeros Western Museum in Wickenburg, AZ, launched an annual exhibition dedicated to women artists of the West in 2005, the title "Cowgirl Up!" felt particularly appropriate.

This Spring marked the 9 th anniversary of this internationally-known event which has put the Museum, and the town of Wickenburg, Arizona, on the map within the Western American art.
