Deutzia is an ornamental plant that is often cultivated as a shrub. Deutzia is a member of the hydrangea family (Hydrangeaeae), which originates from East Asia, more specifically the Himalayas and Philippines. Though there are about 50 wild species in total, a few of which stem from Mexico.
