In Melbourne I see prices anywhere from $50 - $75 (AUD) for the exact same thing. It's crazy to me as a fade will only last around 1-2 weeks before growing back. Is this just the standard price here or am I just looking in the wrong places? For the guys who gets fades, how much do you usually pay?

That's why I just chose a random barber shop and went in. The owner was a 50-year-old Hungarian woman who spoke no English. However, in the end all went well - I received a cheap and decent haircut, and the service was also super friendly. As I said, not maybe the best solution if you're really worried about getting your hair messed up.
