Bhuvar Loka is the sphere of the sky both in diameter and circumference as far upwards as to the planetary sphere or 'Swarloka'. Bhuvarloka. According to the purāṇas there are fourteen lokas or worlds in this universe generally called as Caturdaśabhuvanas. Of these, six lokas are above the earth ( Bhuloka) and seven below it.
